the vent detailing on that first page … love it, it’s the little things like that that weirdly make a scene feel liveable. Also love how it feels like the calm before … maybe not a storm, but /something/ for sure.

in the context of painting it’s just “bounce light” or reflected light, but tbh the whole time I was working on this I was screaming “RAYTRACING!” at myself in my head
